Terms & Conditions

1. Service Description

TakeMyBins provides weekly trash bin pull-out and return services for residential customers.
Service includes:

  • Pulling trash, recycling, and/or green waste bins to the curb prior to your scheduled pickup time.

  • Returning bins to the designated area after trash collection is completed.

  • Service includes up to 3 bins. Additional bins may incur an added fee.

We do not collect or dispose of trash ourselves. We only move the bins.

2. Service Eligibility

To receive service, you must:

  • Provide accurate and current address information.

  • Ensure bins are accessible (unlocked, unobstructed).

  • Notify us of changes to your pickup schedule or access instructions.

If bins are blocked, locked, inside a garage, behind a gate, or otherwise inaccessible, service may be skipped without credit.

3. Monthly Subscription & Billing

  • Service is billed at $50 per month, unless otherwise stated.

  • Subscription renews automatically every 30 days.

  • Payments are processed automatically through the payment method you provide.

  • Failed payments may result in paused service.

We reserve the right to update pricing with 30 days’ written notice.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time.
Cancellations become effective at the end of your current billing cycle.

Because this is a subscription service, no prorated refunds are provided for mid-cycle cancellations.

If we fail to perform service for reasons within our control, a credit may be issued at our discretion.

5. Missed Service Policy

TakeMyBins is not responsible for missed services due to:

  • Road closures or hazardous conditions

  • Unusually early or unannounced collection by the city

  • Inaccessible bins or property

  • Holidays affecting city pickup schedules

  • Severe weather

  • Incorrect service information provided by the customer

We will always make reasonable efforts to complete service on the scheduled day.

6. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Place bins in an accessible location or ensure access instructions are accurate.

  • Remove locks or secure fencing if needed for service.

  • Keep pets secured.

  • Provide safe, hazard-free property access.

TakeMyBins is not responsible for damages resulting from unsafe pathways, poorly maintained surfaces, or hazards present on your property.

7. Service Changes or Pauses

If you are out of town or do not require service temporarily, you may request a pause.
Pauses must be requested at least 48 hours before your service day.

8. Property & Liability

TakeMyBins is insured for general liability.
We are not responsible for:

  • Damage to bins caused by city waste collectors

  • Theft or loss of bins

  • Damage resulting from city trash trucks or city services

  • Items left inside bins that spill or leak due to pickup

Our responsibility is limited to moving the bins as instructed.

9. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if:

  • The environment is unsafe for our staff

  • There is harassment or inappropriate behavior toward our team

  • Customers consistently fail to provide access

  • There is misuse of the service

10. Photos for Proof of Service

We may take photos of bins at pickup and return locations for:

  • Proof of service

  • Quality control

  • Safety documentation

Photos will never include interior home spaces or identifiable personal information.

11. Communication

By subscribing, you agree to receive service-related texts and emails.
You may opt out of marketing messages at any time.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will take effect upon posting to our website. Continued use of the service means you accept the updated Terms.
