Refund Policy

1. Monthly Subscription Payments Are Non-Refundable

All payments made for monthly service are non-refundable, including:

  • Mid-cycle cancellations

  • Unused service days

  • Missed service due to inaccessible bins or incorrect instructions

Your subscription remains active until the end of your billing period.

2. Service Credits for Missed Service (Our Fault Only)

If we fail to perform service for reasons within our control, you may be eligible for a credit on your next billing cycle.

Credits may be issued when:

  • Our team fails to pull out or return bins on your scheduled day

  • Our team reschedules without notifying you

  • A verifiable error was made by TakeMyBins staff

Credits are issued at our discretion after reviewing service logs and photos.

3. No Credits for Out-of-Our-Control Factors

We do not provide credits or refunds for missed service when caused by:

  • Blocked, locked, inaccessible, or obstructed bins

  • Incorrect or outdated service instructions

  • Road closures or construction preventing access

  • Unusually early pickup by city waste collectors

  • Bad weather or unsafe conditions

  • Holidays affecting city pickup schedules

  • Bins not placed where customer instructed they would be

4. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel anytime.
Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

No prorated refunds will be provided.

5. Moving or Changing Address

If you move out of our service area, your service may be canceled at the end of your billing cycle.

No partial refunds will be issued.

6. Service Pauses

You may request a temporary pause due to vacation or special circumstances.
Pauses do not generate credits unless agreed upon in advance.
